New Research Connects Title IX With Positive Outcomes for Girls

A blog written by Tara Parker-Pop for the New York Times Well Blog, titled As Girls Become Women, Sports Pay Dividends outlines the many economic, health and career benefits that result from girls’ participation in sports.  The blog also provides links to some recently released research on this topic. The 2007 Tucker Center Research Report: Developing Physically Active Girls is another excellent research-based resource which also provides information on positive outcomes for active females.
